Investing in our Venue First Aid Cover not only enhances the safety of your event but also demonstrates your commitment to guest welfare.
First Aid Cover for your Venue
As a business you have a duty of care to your staff and visitors to your premises to ensure that they are cared for should they become unwell or have an accident.
Do you have that cover in place?

We can offer a bespoke medical package for your business. We work with you to undertake a risk assessment for your business and its activities. We can then provide you with the correct resources to meet the needs of your organisation. Some business would be considered a low-risk environment such as offices and shops. In these cases, we could provide onsite First Aid staff.

Other industries are considered higher risk, such as building sites, security companies, and airports. Due to the higher risk of injury as these sites, higher grades of staff would likely be required. We will work with you to provide the correct level of cover required based on the risk assessment.

Whatever the grade of staff required for your workplace all of our staff are fully insured by Catseye Response and are supplied with all the necessary equipment for their grade.
Catseye Response will discuss with you your requirements on initial contact and arrange to visit your workplace to further discuss the requirement and make recommendations. Please do not worry though, as we will only advise the actual requirements, never more!
Once we have agreed on the level of cover you require, you can then decide how long you wish to book our services for.
This will be entirely up to you and depends on circumstances. For example, you may have trained first aid/medics in place, but want to cover maternity leave or long term sickness. Perhaps your organisation is undertaking, higher risk activities for a period of time or you may want a long term package that leaves you to concentrate on your business. As an event coordinator or promoter, we know how concerned you are about the increasing number of injuries and drug/alcohol abuse incidents that are occurring. All of our assigned medics will have real-life experience treating the most typical types of injuries that usually occur at your specific event. They will be knowledgeable, ready and equipped for unexpected injuries or illnesses that could occur.

Relieving Pressure on NHS Ambulance Trusts
Aside from medical coverage, we can assist with major incident planning, risk assessments, and communication with local NHS ambulance services and hospitals.
The Purple Guide, created in collaboration with the HSE, outlines event requirements and coverage levels. The Purple Guide is followed by NHS trusts.
We will work with you and officials, including the safety advisory group (SAG), to develop and agree on provision.
CAUTIONS ABOUT USING FIRST AIDERS AT EVENTS
First aid is very basic, and they cannot deal with anything else effectively. Our medical coverage is far more extensive.
Many coroners and public inquiries have stated that event environments require more resources than first aiders.
Meet public safety requirements with our professional and exprienced team, as inline with the Purple Guide we only use FREC 3 Responders as a minium do not employ anyone of a lower grade than FREC 3
